About Scott Cormie

Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy & Counselling

My approach to helping people has been shaped by many years of study, professional experience and working directly with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

I graduated from Monash University, Caulfield, in 1997 with an Associate Diploma of Arts (Human Services). The course included social and behavioural studies, with counselling as one of the subjects within the program.

Following graduation, I undertook volunteer work with special-needs groups, where I was able to put my studies into practice and gain valuable experience working with people with different needs and circumstances.

In 1999, I began working in the Employment Services Industry, where I provided one-to-one counselling and conducted training workshops with a strong focus on personal growth, development and helping people move forward.

I then continued my professional development through further education and specialised training in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, building on my existing experience in counselling, human services and personal development.

Today, my work incorporates clinical hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, counselling and regression therapy. I believe that every person is different, so I take an individualised approach rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all program.

My aim is to provide a supportive, respectful and confidential environment where you can feel heard, develop greater understanding and work towards meaningful change.
